What is AI?:
Artificial Intelligence is an online simulation of what human intelligence is supposed to be represented in machines. It involves much work to develop good AI with algorithms and different models that shape the AI to what the user likes over time. There are several types of AI that range from doing small tasks such as facial recognition to huge tasks such as making decisions from visuals such as photos and videos, and big prompts given to the AI.
Who is NVIDIA?
NVIDIA is an American tech company specializing in making GPUs for gaming and everything in between. However, it has also made a huge impact in the AI world and is becoming one of the most famous companies in the tech game at the moment. Their sub-brand GeForce is huge and used by tons of gamers for the best quality possible. Their AI building wouldn’t be possible without their amazing GPUs. They are very crucial in giving the necessary power to train their AIs and deep learning abilities.
NVIDIA’s contributions.
Their CUBA platform and Tensor cores in their GPUs are important factors in innovating AI for the world. Both of these technologies accelerated NVIDIA’s AI contributions to the world. Some other hardware and parts of NVIDIA that helped pushed AI into the world included its DGX systems and its super powerful A100 GPU.
The takeover
NVIDIA’s takeover into the AI world as well as technology didn’t just come out of nowhere. They have always been a competitor in the game and tech industry going back to 1993. Its recognition and building of their GPU’s set them apart from others which set them up to get into AI. They focused on building around their ecosystem and now just their hardware even though that is the most important. Their consistent research and development help them be so ahead of others to push the boundaries of GPU’s, but more importantly AI in general.
Tech today.
In today’s world and time, AI and technology are always expanding, experiencing new boundaries being pushes to the limits everyday. AI is being used everywhere such as finance, entertainment and even healthcare. You may know ChatGPT created by OpenAI, which has taken over the world for its amazing capabilities such as its photo and video algorithm models and deep learning. AIs real time feedback and response is what makes it so good and its ability to sound human at the same time. This is only the beginning for AI as its constantly evolving everyday and just one day it might take over the world, who knows.
