All of us animal lovers know how our pets bring us love, comfort, joy, and even stress relief. Well, K-pop idols are no exception – just like the rest of us, they enjoy having a furry companion to come home to, especially after a long day. We all know how tiring the K-pop industry can be, and having their best friend by their side is exactly what they need. Here are a few K-pop idols that aren’t afraid to show off their adorable pets!
1. BTS V’s Dog, Yeontan
ARMYs are definitely familiar with V’s adorable Pomeranian, Yeontan! In fact, he might just be as popular as V himself, giving ARMYs heart attacks with his adorable smile. As veteran ARMYs most likely did with V, fans watched Yeontan grow over the years into a charming dog – just like V himself, a charming young man. Although the two were an extremely inseparable pair, they had to separate due to V’s busy schedule, so Yeontan was forced to move into V’s parents’ house. We can’t imagine how devastating they must have been, to be separated from their best friend. Luckily, they are currently reunited and living together!

2. SEVENTEEN Mingyu’s Dog, Bobpul (밥풀)
A literal grain of rice, SEVENTEEN Mingyu’s dog Bobpul captured CARAT’s hearts immediately with the phot of Babpul below. His fur looks so fluffy, his eyes are so dark and round, his cute tongue sticking out – who wouldn’t resist Babpul at first sight? The Bichon looks exactly like a stuffed animal! Even better: Babpul has his own Instagram called @kimbobpul with over 200k followers, run by none other than Mingyu himself.

3. LE SSERAFIM Chaewon’s Dog, Shiro!
Le Sserafim aren’t the only ones that are “antifragile” – so is Chaewon’s feisty white pomeranian Shiro! In a viral video, the cute menace snatched Chaewon’s hair roller right from her hair, leaving the idol giggling. She let out a yell for help, but unfortunately, Chaewon’s cries were in vain; the thief had already left!

4. SHINEE Key’s Dogs, CommeDes (ccom-deh) and Garcons (ga-reh-song)
Get ready for what we’d say are one of the most spoiled pets in the Kpop industry: SHINEE Key’s adorable Bichos CommeDes and Garcons! The brown and black dogs, respectively, are sassy yet love to dress up more than anyone else. While Key expectedly has a huge walk-in closet, you’d be surprised to hear that the dogs have their own little closet too! 5. TXT Soobin’s Hedgehog, Choi Odi
Most Kpop idols have dogs or cats as pets, but TXT’s Soobin is special: he has an adorable hedgehog named Odi! All of the TXT members befriended the curious hedgehog, and was called the “sixth member” of the group. Not only was he a beloved hedgehog among Soobin and the TXT members, but he was also a huge sensation among Moas. Odi passed away recently, but we all know that he passed peacefully and will forever remain in our memories.’

6. BLACKPINK Lisa’s Dogs and Cats Leo, Luca, Lily, Louis, Lego, and Love!
BLACKPINK Lisa has a huge furry family with five cats and one dog! The cats are Leo (a Scottish fold), Luca and Lily (Ragdolls), and Lego and Louis (British shorthairs), while the one singular dog is Love, a handsome male Doberman. Her family is called the “L Family,” as all their names – including Lisa’s – starts with L. What a big, happy family!

7. EXO Sehun’s Dog, Vivi
If you’ve seen the meme shown below before, chances are you may already be the tiniest bit familiar with Vivi, EXO Sehun’s spoiled Bichon! Sehun is constantly posting adorable pictures of their friendship together on his Instagram (@oohsehun). Not only are they the best of friends, Vivi gave Sehun so much strength over the years; Sehun had been stressed over his activities as a Kpop idol until he met his pet soulmate, who energized him throughout his idol career. It was destiny!

Our pets really are the biggest joy in our lives, no matter how long and hard our days go by.
